Gales of November, first weekend in November

This annual gathering on the north shore of Lake Superior, just south of Lake Superior Provincial Park is run by Naturally Superior Adventures. November has traditionally been considered as the beginning of storm season in the area. Temperatures are usually around 5° to 10°C during the day and dipping below zero in the evening. The waves are lots of fun and a great challenge, if you can make it out against the sheer strength Lake Superior! Water temperatures are typical for Superior - ICY - so bring a wet suit!
