The International Canoe Federation governs racing in many forms. Included are:

• Flatwater kayak and canoe
• Slalom kayak and canoe
• Wildwater kayak and canoe
• Canoe polo (actually, kayak polo, but the British sense of canoe is used.)
• Canoe sailing
