H. C. Petersen

Greenland Inuit author H.C. Petersen has documented much of the culture of his people with respect to their skin boats (kayaks and umiaks) as well as the tools used for hunting. His interest came from his concern for the preservation of the culture of his people. Ha has written several boots, including Skinboats of Greenland, Instruction In Kayak Building and Qaannamik Pinnguaatit.
